I'm almost at the end, and now sadness sets in when I realize after
50 more pages it's done. It's real easy to 'accept' the fiction
in Waking Walt. It would make a great movie :-) |

What a wonderful book you've created! Very impressive! A truly inspiring
blend of humor and suspense, vision and courage. I wish it were
true. :-) It's a marvelous tale and very skillfully executed. Rob
and I will treasure this book for a long time to come. PS - We were
also very taken by some of the book's philosophies... particularly
loved Walt's view on "problems" vrs. adventure. How true.
Rob has asked me to tell you, in particular: Thanks for having the
courage to say those things. |

What
a refreshing novel! After hearing about this novel, I couldn't wait
to get my hands on it, and I was not disappointed! The story is
original, but works in great elements and themes about Walt Disney,
his dreams, and the urban legend surrounding his death. This novel
is a must for any Disney fan. I highly recommended it! |

I
finished Waking Walt on the way to my in-laws this weekend. I literally
read it in the dark of the car with only the reading lamp on. I
absolutely couldn't put it down and have recommended it to a lot
of friends! |

Some might
feel that Waking Walt is too implausible, but I think Pontius
has penned a masterpiece. After all…"A dream is a wish your
heart makes." Highest recommendation.

Just
finished reading the book. I loved it!!! Couldn't put it down. Everyone
I know knows about it now too. I sent the web link to everyone I
emailed about the book. Keep up the good work and I would be interested
in hearing about anymore novels. By the way I was figuring Tom Cruise
for the role of Harry when you get that movie deal. Good luck with
your writing. |

I
found your novel fast-paced and entertaining. The plot was exciting
and unpredictable. I found the book to provide interesting prospective
both as a scientist from the prospective of cryonic suspension and
its implications for our society and also found your work to be
an interesting commentary on our modern society. I congratulate
you on your first novel and eagerly await your next. |

Anyway...it's
rare that I have a chance to tell an author how much I really enjoyed
his or her book, but since you gave me hours of pleasure reading
Waking Walt, I felt like spending a few minutes to email you a rave
review would be minutes well spent. |

Finished
your book several days ago -- endings are tricky, and in my opinion,
you wrapped it up extremely well in that the end complimented and
enhanced the entire aura of the delightful/page turning adventure
-- an ending with a glimmer of magic and hope, if only in one's
dreams. Keep up the good work, and keep us posted of your current
and future endeavors." |

Currently
reading the *very good* thriller, WAKING WALT, by Larry Pontius.
The storyline/plot, pacing, and send of humor are well done plus
the characterizations are excellent. Am only at page 100ish, and
can't WAIT to go on. |

WAKING
WALT is a masterfully written work of fiction based on an urban
legend that has been around for years. Mr. Pontius has taken the
legend and built a story that is completely fascinating. The imagination
used to create WAKING WALT is absolutely brilliant, and the writing
is flawless. |
